Former the postproduction was done in the darkroom. Today you do this in Photoshop. I promise that I do no image- or color-manipulation in postproduction. Only existing image information are used and sometimes intensified. I just remove disturbing sensor dust, hot- and dead-pixels on long-time exposures and annoying splashes on waterdrop-photographs.
Some of my photos were taken with special color filters directly attached to the camera. In combination with a long-time exposure atmospheric color compositions will be formed. Sometimes I saturate the colors a little bit.
The color effects on the waterdrop-photographs are achieved by filters attached to the flash units as well as by colored liquids. Afterwards I do some color saturation and dynamic optimation.
Special recording methods such as HDR and also artistically altered and manipulated images are declared.
My images can be tailored to reinforce their impression, but in no case I will distort their messages.
